Due to increasing demand from filmmakers, Tropfest NY has decided to extend our deadline by 1 week!
Regular Deadline: May 10, 2012 – $35.00
Late Deadline: May 17, 2012 – $50.00
Please note that the above dates are not postmark deadlines–they are the dates by which your film must be received in our office. No films will be accepted after May 17th, 2012.
There are THREE easy steps to submitting your Tropfest film. They are:
STAGE 1 – REGISTER YOUR INTEREST WITH US AND MAKE YOUR FILM!
If you are planning to enter a film into Tropfest New York we would love you to register with us so we can keep you posted on news related to the festival. Please email us with your full name, city and tell us you are out there and planning a Tropfest New York entry.
Please send an email to nyinfo@tropfest.com with the subject line “Registering my interest in making a film” and we will be sure to keep you posted on all the latest and greatest news from Tropfest New York HQ.
STAGE 2 – SUBMIT YOUR FILM
Please ensure you read the Tropfest New York Entry GUIDELINES and TERMS AND CONDITIONS very carefully. They provide detailed instructions on how to submit your film as well as the terms and conditions of entry.
There are two options to submit your film:
Option 1. Submit through Withoutabox. The entry fee for submitting a film is US $35 or US $30 for WAB members.
Option 2. Submit by downloading the ENTRY FORM, read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS, sign and include form with your two DVD’s. Once you have completed and signed the entry form please pay the entry fee of $35 via Paypal and be sure to include the Paypal registration number on the entry form in the space provided
STAGE 3 – SEND IN YOUR FILM AND ENTRY FORM – DEADLINE HAS NOW BEEN EXTENDED TO MAY 17, 2012
If you chose option 1 and submitted your film via WAB Secure Online Screener feature then your submission information is complete. If you submitted through WAB but did not upload your film via the Online screener feature then please prepare your 2 x submission DVDs (NTSC Region 1 or 0-compatible only) with the film’s title and Entrant’s full name with your WAB transaction ID and send to
