In 1979, somewhere in The Bronx, a horrible event took place that would change a family forever. Now, a son finally confronts his abusive father, after reliving this painful memory from his childhood.
Victor Bruno has worked as recording engineer and music producer. ‘Thanks Dad’ is his directorial debut and is produced by Harrington Talents.
My friends and I loved this short film. We can’t believe it didn’t win anything because it was so great. Such a powerful story and film. So well done!

Wow, with the amount of hits that Thanks Dad is getting on YouTube, it’s powerful message was obviously extremely well received by the Tropfest attendees and attracting new viewers as well. Seems like we’re looking at one of the real winners here!
