Hi there,

Thank you to everyone who attended Movie Extra Tropfest 2010! 

Sunday 21 February 2010 saw thousands of eager punters flock to the Domain, Sydney and venues across Australia to view the premiere of the 16 Finalist Films.  Gathering its biggest crowd to date, Movie Extra Tropfest 2010 also attracted a panel of highly esteemed judges Michael & Peter Spierig (Director & Writers Daybreakers), Elijah Wood (Actor Lord of the Rings, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin City), Toni Collette (Actor United States of Tara,  LIttle Miss Sunshine, About a Boy) and David Michôd (Writer & Director Animal Kingdom).

A big congratulations goes out to Abe Forsythe for his short film SHOCK taking out First Prize!  A previous entrant and finalist, Abe's memorable short film received a collective gasp of laughter and applause nationwide.  For a full list of winners and prizes, click here.
