Tropfest Roughcut 2012

The inaugural Tropfest Roughcut was held on Saturday, 18 February 2012.

Roughcut was established to cultivate outstanding storytelling on screen and to foster a culture of dynamic and creative Australian filmmakers.

With internationally celebrated screenwriter Charles Randolph (Love and Other Drugs, The Interpreter) presenting the keynote address, Roughcut 2012 delved into creativity and collaboration. Our lineup of incredible industry talent opened up, in an intimate forum, about what makes them tick creatively and how each of their disciplines contributes to the filmmaker’s vision.
