Tropfest Roughcut 2012, presented by Screen NSW, will be held on Saturday 18th February at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Roughcut has been established to cultivate outstanding storytelling on screen and to foster a culture of dynamic and creative Australian filmmakers.
With internationally celebrated screenwriter Charles Randolph (Love and Other Drugs, The Interpreter) presenting the keynote address, Roughcut 2012 will delve into creativity and collaboration. Our lineup of incredible industry talent will open-up, in an intimate forum, about what makes them tick creatively and how each of their disciplines contributes to the filmmaker’s vision.
Roughcut is aimed at emerging and newly established filmmakers in an effort to support their storytelling practice. This seminar is for you – if you are passionate about film and want to explore what inspires and drives the heart and soul of the filmmaking process, this is the event for you.
