It goes without saying that Tropfest is one of the most unique live entertainment experiences on the events calendar and is ‘not-to-be-missed’ – there’s really isn’t anything quite like it!

For the second time, Tropfest will get a live, national television broadcast on Movie Extra channel, increasing the audience reach beyond festival attendants and providing the best possible exposure for filmmakers. The broadcast will include Movie Extra’s fully hosted 'live from Tropfest' program including full event commentary, coverage of the red carpet glamour, interviews with judges and key figures of the Australian film industry, roving reporters and vox pops with the punters.

Free Tropfest Finalist DVD will be distributed in Sydney through the Sydney Morning Herald on the Saturday following the festival.

All 16 finalists from this year’s Tropfest film festival will be available to view on Telstra Next G mobile phones straight after the event.

Telstra is the exclusive mobile partner of Tropfest and the 16 films can be viewed on compatible Telstra Next G mobiles after Tropfest finishes on Sunday, 21 February.
