Today Tropfest announced that Academy Award winning producer Fisher Stevens (The Cove), Journalist and author Malcolm Gladwell (The New Yorker, The Tipping Point, Blink), and WNYC host Leonard Lopate will be among the Judges at Tropfest New York on June 22nd in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Other jurors will be announced soon. Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) will host the festivities.

Loosely based on the Director’s personal experience, ‘Elevator’ depicts the feeling of panic that ensues when mother and son are unfortunately separated.
Jennifer Ross is from Melbourne, Australia. She is currently working on a film documenting a year in the running of vineyard, Bluestone Acres. ‘Elevator’ is her first short film.
Three soldiers find a photo booth in the middle of a war-torn landscape and soon realise it carries a strange but disturbing message for each of them.
